Because of the high-stakes nature of relocation—where consumer belongings are loaded onto commercial vehicles and transported across state borders—we adhere to rigorous journalistic and data-verification standards before publishing guides or alert ratings.
Accuracy & Data Integrity
Our reports, warnings, and guides are strictly backed by verifiable data. We pull directly from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) database, USDOT registration records, state licensing commissions, and court documents. We do not publish speculative reports without primary documentation.
Absolute Independence
Editorial content is completely separate from our business operations. Moving companies cannot pay to delete safety warnings, alter their complaint logs, or influence articles. Our reviews and ratings are based on objective metrics. Sponsored claims are strictly labeled and segregated.
Investigative Safety Reviews
Our team actively monitors carrier status changes, including Out-of-Service orders, BMC-84 bond cancellations, and LLC transfers. When we identify 'chameleon carriers' trying to hide safety records under new names, we publish objective warnings with clear registration timelines to protect the public.
Continual Updates
Regulatory laws and carrier records change. We review and update our moving checklists, state guides, and scam warning articles quarterly to ensure all citations and instructions align with current federal code (including 49 CFR Part 375 regulations).
Corporate Transparency & Funding
Movers To Trust is funded through transparent professional listings and verified badges for companies who successfully pass our safety compliance thresholds. However, listing fees do not buy safety clearance.
We make a strict structural separation between commercial operations and editorial alerts. Every warning published on the Rogue Mover Alert Hub is generated by objective algorithmic triggers (such as USDOT revocation status or active federal complaints) and cannot be removed through financial transactions or listing upgrades.
